Nolato Medical Primary Packaging specialises in the development and manufacture of primary plastic packaging for pharmaceuticals and healthcare products. Offering a comprehensive range of standard caps and containers as well as tailor-made packaging to meet specific customer requirements. Designed and developed for both prescription and over-the-counter medicines, covering all dosage forms: solids, liquids, creams and powders. We are part of Nolato Medical and the listed Nolato Group, with operations in Europe, Asia and the USA.

Quality and hygiene

Our production takes place in a cleanroom environment (hygiene and clean rooms up to class 7), and we were among the ­ first companies in Europe to be certified in accordance with ISO 15378 and PS 9000. We supply packaging fulfilling USP671 (UV and WVTR), and have Drug Master Files (DMF) available for our larger product ranges. Proving our commitment to deliver the right quality, in the right quantity, at the right time.

Our customers’ unique requirements in terms of cost efficient manufacturing have shaped our safe and modern production techniques. The continuous investment in new technology and rationalisation of production at our production sites means that we are constantly improving both our services and our manufacturing processes. In addition we manage the whole process –design, manufacture and logistics –in-house, which allows us to maintain control of every aspect of production, ensuring quality and reliability.

Design and innovation

Our policy is to always meet our customers’ requirements and expectations but also keeping the end user in mind. Whether it's supplying easy-opening, child resistant, tamper evident containers or packaging with low moisture vapour transmission our packaging is of the right quality. We offer standard and bespoke packaging of unique designs to boost on-shelf visibility as well as enhanced stackability. If you are wanting to rebrand, launch a new product or continue with an existing product, our design teams can work with you on colour-matching plastic, embossed branding, various printing options and new packaging and dispensing concepts.
